Welcome Lauren Giannetti Sferrazza, MS CGC – Genetic Counselor, to the LLL Advisors Team

We are excited to announce that Lauren Giannetti Sferrazza, MS CGC, a Genetic Counselor, has joined the Learn Look Locate Advisors Team. With her expertise and commitment to patient advocacy and education, she is a valuable addition to our team.

Lauren shares her perspective on joining LLL: “As a genetic counselor by training, patient advocacy and education are essential for preventing and treating breast cancers, especially those that are hereditary in nature. Learn Look Locate’s mission of education and empowerment fully aligns with the many reasons I became a genetic counselor. I truly believe that knowledge is power, and partnering with LLL will be an amazing opportunity to continue to spread that important message.”

Bio:
Lauren (she/her) is a board-certified genetic counselor who currently practices as a National Medical Science Liaison in Oncology at Myriad Genetics. She holds positions on the LIU Genetic Counseling Graduate Program’s Advisory Board, NYMAC Regional Genetics Network, Co-Chair of the NSGC Laboratory and Industry Special Interest Group, and the Human Genetics Association of NJ. Prior to her role at Myriad, Lauren served as the Interim Assistant Program director at the LIU Genetic Counseling Graduate Program and Manager/Senior Genetic Counselor at GeneScreen Counseling Services, LLC.
