Biography
Dr. Anjali Malik is a distinguished breast imaging and intervention radiologist at Washington Radiology, serving patients across 8 locations in the DMV region. With over a decade of experience, she specializes in interpreting multiple modalities of radiologic imaging, detecting and diagnosing cancer through imaging and imaging-guided biopsies. Dr. Malik works closely with physicians across multiple specialties to offer the best care for her patients.
A passionate advocate for women’s and public health, Dr. Malik is active both on Capitol Hill and within the community. She is a prolific writer and speaker, discussing topics ranging from women’s health to the utilization of social media for advocacy, and from radiology’s role in healthcare to technological advances in imaging.
Dr. Malik’s educational journey includes a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, followed by her MD from Tulane University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Her experience during Hurricane Katrina significantly shaped her career and approach to patient care.
As a member of various professional organizations, including the American College of Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging, Dr. Malik continues to contribute to the field through committee work, presentations at national and international meetings, and her active presence on social media platforms where she educates and empowers her followers on health and sustainability.
