“I am a certified holistic coach and have always been “health conscious” but know what I know now about inflammation and stress I take even better care of ME and extend that help to others who are wanting more insight and education.that way!”
I was diagnosed in May 2018 with HER2+ breast cancer. I found a lump under my left arm. The doctors did a biopsy and then a diagnostic mammogram to find the source but found nothing. We then did a breast MRI and sure enough there was a tiny lump in my left breast. This is a very aggressive cancer so I got my port within 2 weeks and started chemo. My first chemo made me very sick and I ended up in the hospital twice. My body is very sensitive so I was quite affected. Initially they wanted 6 chemo-3 weeks apart but I did 3 chemo’s 4 weeks apart. No radiation(my choice) followed by lumpectomies. I battled for quite a while between a double mast and lumpectomy but when it got closer to ending chemo I decided to just go with the lumpectomy. I continued with Herceptin which is the targeted chemo until March 2019 and finished treatment.
I am 1 year 1/2 cancer free and hope to stay health to the next level. I am a certified holistic coach and have always been “health conscious” but know what I know now about inflammation and stress I take even better care of ME and extend that help to others who are wanting more insight and education.that way! lol Cancer was a gift! Yes, a gift! The message for me was to start putting me first!”
