We see it in our loved ones and that can bring a lot of guilt, but we also experience things like fear and anxiety constant. We also experience this loss of identity. We also experience things like PTSD and trauma because there’s this pile of trauma.
And it’s really hard because it feels like the world doesn’t understand that part of it. And most women that I’ve worked with have said that this is the most difficult part of the whole journey. The physical was nothing compared to the emotional healing that has to take place. And so we need to educate people on this so that they’re there to support us and help us through.”

There are several ways to diagnose breast cancer, including mammograms, biopsies, and ultrasounds. There is a strong community of women who have been affected by breast cancer. In addition, there are a number of organizations and resources available to help women find the support they need.
