We advocate the importance of self-breast exams, what to look for when performing a self-exam, and when to see a doctor. We provide resources for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as for their families and friends.
The five-year survival rate for women who catch their cancer early is nearly 100%. Here’s an important statistic. Many women do not perform self-breast exams or see a doctor for regular screenings. We will feature stories of women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and share their journeys.
There are several ways to diagnose breast cancer, including mammograms, biopsies, and ultrasounds. Once breast cancer is diagnosed, there are a few treatment options available, including surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. The best way to treat breast cancer is to catch it early and to get the best treatment possible.
There is a strong community of women who have been affected by breast cancer. In addition, there are a number of organizations and resources available to help women find the support they need.
