I was like, take me to the big cancer center. And the fact that you were able to take a step back, Samantha, and say, no, I’m switching doctors. You know what I’m saying Who in there– we’re like, cuckoo for coconuts. When we hit, get smacked with this. And doctors are not god, but we think they are. At least I did. I was like, oh, you’re just going to get this out of me, and everything’s going to be fine, and all of that.
And I do feel fortunate, but there are a lot of hiccups in what happened to me. And that’s one of the reasons why I started this, guys, because I feel like it’s a car wash from the emotional side. And as I’m listening to women are so much younger, and dealing with your careers, and your kids, and your lives, now I was older. So I can’t even imagine the Then something like this, you know throws you off the railroad tracks of your life your looks the side effects everything. So I have so much compassion for that.
Katrina is in the process of writing a book that narrates her journey with breast cancer. Unlike traditional memoirs on the subject, she aims to present her story in a novelistic format, giving cancer and her brain their own characters.
