It has many different shots. And usually it’s given 24 hours after you get your chemotherapy. And it kind of helped you get through that low point I was talking to you about, that nadir, what we call the nadir, where your counts, we expect your counts to drop the lowest, where your body is the weakest from the chemotherapy.
And that helps prevent infections because that’s one of the biggest things we worry about when your white blood cell count drops because of the chemotherapy, being at risk for general infections that maybe a normal use would be able to fend off in this situation, you can’t and that could really hurt you and delay your treatment if you were to get an infection. So we try to do our best to protect people.”

We advocate the importance of self-breast exams, what to look for when performing a self-exam, and when to see a doctor. We provide resources for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as for their families and friends.
The five-year survival rate for women who catch their cancer early is nearly 100%. Here’s an important statistic. Many women do not perform self-breast exams or see a doctor for regular screenings. Learn Look Locate LLC wants to highlight the work of organizations around the world that are working to promote early detection of breast cancer. We will feature stories of women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and share their journeys.
There are several ways to diagnose breast cancer, including mammograms, biopsies, and ultrasounds. Once breast cancer is diagnosed, there are a few treatment options available, including surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. The best way to treat breast cancer is to catch it early and to get the best treatment possible.
