You know what I mean? Like, like you would get mammograms starting at age 40. And then that was like, you know, you get watched until you’re like 55 or something. And then you’re fine after that. I didn’t know anything about it. Right. Neither did I. And I kind of was like the same, like okay, like I’ll have cancer and then they’ll take it all and then I’ll get an implant and life will go on and that is, I feel like the general public sees it that way. – Yeah. – Or similar and that’s not.
Katrina is in the process of writing a book that narrates her journey with breast cancer. Unlike traditional memoirs on the subject, she aims to present her story in a novelistic format, giving cancer and her brain their own characters.
