I think if you look at the survival rate over the past 25 years, you see that it is increasing. Yes. Why is that? So I think it’s twofold. I think one of the reasons and probably the main reasons is because our systemic treatment has improved.
The drugs that we’re using to kill cancer cells that have left the breast and gotten into the body are continually improving and that’s certainly one reason why the survival rates have gone up. The other reason the survival rates going up is because we’re stage shifting. We’re finding cancers earlier. Screening saves lives mammograms save lives.”
