Biography
Dr. Stacy Smith-Foley is a highly experienced breast imaging specialist with over 17 years of clinical experience. She currently serves as the Medical Director of The Breast Center at CARTI. Dr. Smith-Foley completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Central Arkansas and earned her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Throughout her career, Dr. Smith-Foley has been a leader in her field. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and participated in multiple breast imaging reader studies. Her expertise extends beyond interpreting images to include genetic testing, supplemental screening for women with dense breasts, and high-risk screening with MRI.
Dr. Smith-Foley is passionate about breaking down barriers that prevent women from having mammograms and increasing the number of Arkansas women who undergo screening mammography. She emphasizes the critical importance of early breast cancer detection for less invasive, less aggressive, and less costly treatment.
