Biography
Pankaj Tiwari, MD is a renowned plastic and microvascular surgeon with deep expertise in breast reconstruction and lymphedema surgery. A leader in the field for more than twenty years, he is known for his innovative surgical techniques and unwavering dedication to restoring both form and confidence for patients after breast cancer.
Dr. Tiwari completed his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine, graduating after achieving magna cum laude honors from Harvard University. He went on to train at the nation’s top institutions — including a prestigious fellowship in Reconstructive Microvascular Surgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
As Co-Founder of Midwest Breast and Aesthetic Surgery in Ohio, he has helped build one of the largest and most respected breast reconstruction programs in the Midwest. His clinical focus includes DIEP flap microsurgery, advanced reconstruction after complex cancer care, and innovative lymphatic procedures to prevent and treat lymphedema — reflecting his belief that reconstruction is not just about rebuilding a breast, but about supporting whole-person healing.
