James B. Saviers II is a highly experienced occupational therapist specializing in lymphedema management and oncology rehabilitation. With over 15 years of experience, James has dedicated his career to improving the lives of cancer survivors, particularly those dealing with lymphedema.

At CARTI Cancer Center, James spearheaded the creation of a comprehensive lymphedema and oncology rehab program. His innovative approach includes the implementation of bioimpedance spectroscopy for early detection of lymphedema, allowing for proactive management and improved patient outcomes.

James is passionate about patient education and employs a holistic approach to lymphedema management, incorporating complete decongestive therapy, compression garments, and lifestyle modifications. His expertise extends to both upper and lower extremity lymphedema, with a particular focus on breast cancer-related lymphedema.

As an advocate for lymphedema awareness and treatment, James stays at the forefront of advancements in the field. He is actively involved in educating healthcare professionals and patients about the importance of early detection and management of lymphedema.
