Biography

Dr. Staci Tanouye is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist known nationally for her expertise in adolescent gynecology, reproductive and sexual health, and menopause care. With a vibrant voice both in the exam room and across social media platforms, she has become a leading figure in breaking down taboos around women’s health and making complex medical information accessible, inclusive, and empowering.

Dr. Tanouye earned her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Educational Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, followed by her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the Mayo Clinic, where she received multiple honors, including “Resident Teacher of the Year” three years in a row—a testament to her passion for education and mentorship.

Currently in private practice In Jacksonville Florida, Dr. Tanouye blends clinical excellence with a strong commitment to community health. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and an active member of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Tanouye has built a global platform as a trusted voice in digital health. With over 1.4 million followers on TikTok, she uses her platform to dispel misinformation, answer uncomfortable questions, and promote body literacy with clarity and compassion. Her educational content has been featured on Good Morning America, The New York Times, Parents.com, and Yahoo Health.
