Anushka Chaudhry, MBBS, FRCS

Dr. Anushka Chaudhry is a distinguished Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon based in Swindon, England, with over a decade of experience at the forefront of breast cancer surgery and reconstruction in the United Kingdom. Trained at the prestigious Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in London, she holds her Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in General Surgery and serves as a Consultant Oncoplastic and Cosmetic Breast Surgeon at both Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and BMI The Ridgeway Hospital.

Dr. Chaudhry’s commitment to surgical excellence has been recognized through numerous prestigious awards, including the Ronald Raven Prize, the Norman Tanner Prize, and the John Farndon Prize. She was named Teacher of the Year at King’s College London and Most Valued Academy Member at Bristol University. She has served on the Education and Training Committee of the Association of Breast Surgery, and has been a Faculty Lead and Course Director for oncoplastic reconstruction training across the UK and internationally. She is a published researcher with peer-reviewed papers in leading surgical journals including the European Journal of Surgical Oncology and the British Journal of Surgery, and has presented at the San Antonio Breast Symposium and the European Breast Cancer Conference, among other major international platforms.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Chaudhry has held significant leadership positions throughout her career. She served as Interim Deputy Chief Medical Officer at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and as Associate Medical Director for the Acute Hospitals Alliance. She currently serves on the Medical Advisory Committee as Cosmetic Representative for Circle Healthgroup Ridgeway Hospital and is the Surgical Principal Investigator for POETIC-A, an active national breast cancer clinical trial.

Dr. Chaudhry is deeply committed to breast cancer education and patient advocacy. In 2015, she founded Aurora Breast Cancer Wellbeing, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients beyond their clinical care. Her public-facing platform @askanushka has become a trusted resource for women seeking clear, compassionate answers about their breast health. She has been a consistent voice for early detection, patient empowerment, and reducing fear and misinformation surrounding breast cancer.
