Christina G. Hibbert, Psy.D.

Clinical Psychologist, Author, Speaker, Survivor, AZ

I’m Dr. Christina Hibbert, clinical psychologist, bestselling author, speaker, breast cancer warrior, and Learn Look Locate’s senior emotional health contributor.

I was diagnosed with stage 1 triple negative breast cancer and the BRCA1 genetic mutation in July 2019 and thought I’d have three surgeries, no chemo and be “done.” Over two years later now and I’ve had 13 surgeries, chemotherapy, cold-capping, kidney stones, blood clots, gastroparesis, and started my reconstruction all over with a DIEP Flap in September 2020 after 9 surgeries and developing breast implant illness. I know the physical toll breast cancer and the BRCA gene take on a person, but I was even more stunned by the emotional toll and lack of support.

I have since been on a mission to share, educate, and support others through the emotional-mental-social-spiritual breast cancer takes, on the trauma of breast cancer, how to feel what we feel, and how to deal with the depression, anxiety, fear, PTSD, loss of identity, and relationship issues that so often accompany the breast cancer journey.

This is why I’m partnering with Learn Look Locate—to bring awareness, education, support, and practical coping techniques to their global platform, to women around the world in need of mental and emotional understanding and support.
